Thomas R. Lloyd

Thomas R. Lloyd practices in the areas of insurance coverage and defense litigation, representing insurance companies and their clients in tort and premises liability matters. In addition to handling all aspects of pretrial litigation, Tom also has experience in appellate briefing and oral argument.

Prior to joining Chasan Lamparello Mallon & Cappuzzo, PC, Tom served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Kimberly Espinales-Maloney, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Civil Part.

Tom obtained his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School, where he served as Senior Managing Editor of the Rutgers Race and the Law Review and was honored with the Nathan N. Schildkraut Award for excellence in appellate advocacy. He also served as Secretary of the Rutgers Moot Court Board and as a member of the Rutgers National Appellate Advocacy Team. In 2020, Tom won the David and Albert Cohn Appellate Advocacy Competition and in 2021 he was named a Semifinalist in the Appellate Lawyers Association Moot Court Competition. During law school, Tom interned for the Honorable James J. DeLuca, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division.

Tom earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from Stockton University.
