Herbert Klitzner

Herbert Klitzner draws on his extensive experience in governmental law and his broad knowledge of real estate transactional matters and estate law to provide solid legal guidance that has earned him considerable longevity with many of his clients.  He served as corporation counsel to the Township of North Bergen from 1985 to 2014.  He also served as general counsel to the West New York Library Board from 1996 to 2014.  Herb served as general counsel to both the West New York Library Board and Union City Board of Education for many years before retiring in 2014.  

Choosing to serve his country after earning a B.A. from Rutgers University in 1966, Herb turned his attention to law following his honorable discharge from the United States Army, and graduated with honors from Boston University School of Law in 1972.  He was in private practice as a sole practitioner before becoming of counsel to Chasan Lamparello Mallon & Cappuzzo, PC, in 1996.
