The Firm's Insurance Department represents many of the top insurance carriers in New Jersey in Personal Injury Protection (PIP) matters.  Beyond PIP arbitration defense, we also support our clients with consulting and training services to improve their handling of claims, appeals, arbitration and litigation. We work closely with our clients to minimize costs and mitigate future claims.

Our attorneys have extensive experience handling PIP matters in Forthright and the NJ Courts. Several are recognized by peers and the PIP arbitration system as leaders in the field and have accordingly been appointed to committees overseeing the development and implementation of policies and practices pertaining to PIP. Robert Cappuzzo, Chair of our PIP Department, is a member of the Forthright Advisory Council and former Chair of the New Jersey Defense Association PIP Committee. Nicole Cassata is the current Chair of the NJDA PIP Committee. Both frequently share their expertise in PIP matters with attorneys and industry members through lectures for the NJ Institute for Continuing Legal Education, NJDA and other industry programs.
