Maria P. Vallejo to Speak on Historic NJSBA Symposium on Race & the Law

Partner Maria P. Vallejo has helped organize and will speak at the historic New Jersey State Bar Association’s “Symposium on Race and the Law – What Can We Do Together to Effect Change” on Thursday, August 20, 2020. The all-day event will take a deep dive into hard-hitting race issues impacting the law and society and will tackle what we can do to effectuate real change. The Symposium promises to bring thought-provoking discussions by powerhouse lawyers and speakers, including Hon. Glenn A. Grant, JAD, New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal and Kevin Richardson of the “Exonerated Five”, among many others.
Ms. Vallejo is a commercial litigation and land use partner at Chasan Lamparello Mallon & Cappuzzo, PC. She also is an active member of the NJSBA, where she sits for the second year in a row as the Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee and Trustee of the Women in the Profession Section.
The Symposium will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can earn up to 4.8 credits, including 1.2 credits for ethics/professionalism.
