Cheyne R. Scott and Nicholas Strasser featured in the Jersey Journal for their community service project with the Hudson County Boys and Girls Club
May 8, 2013
Cheyne R. Scott and Nicholas Strasser were recently featured in the Jersey Journal for their community service project with the Hudson County Boys and Girls Club. Scott, Strasser and members of the Hudson County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division met with High School students at the Boys and Girls Club to teach them criminal law and procedure to prepare them for a mock trial. On May 8, 2013, the students presented their case at the Brennan Court House before Civil Division Presiding Judge Mary K. Costello, Criminal Division Presiding Judge Sheila A. Venable, and former Boys and Girls Club Trustee Judge Daniel D’Alessandro. This experience was not only rewarding to the students but to the young lawyers and Judges who participated.
