Sean P. Carey is a civil litigation attorney focusing his practice on labor and employment law. Prior to joining the firm, Sean served as a judicial clerk for the Hon. Anthony V. D’Elia, J.S.C. As a Law Clerk, Sean assisted with civil motions in areas such as civil rights, governmental immunity, complex construction, malpractice, and tort-based claims. He also negotiated with and persuaded litigants in settlement conferences in the small claims and family division.

In 2020, Sean graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law where he was a member of the Interscholastic Moot Court Board. During law school, he worked as a Law Clerk at a national law firm in New Jersey, assisting the general liability, medical malpractice, and aviation practice groups. Sean was a recipient of the Dean’s Law Scholarship and was a semi-finalist in the 2020 Bryant-Moore Moot Court Competition at Howard University School of Law.

Sean graduated from Union College in 2017 with a combined major in Economics with Political Science. He was an intern for the Hon. Jose L. Linares in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey during the summer of 2017.

Sean is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
