Kazel Kapadia is an Associate at the Firm, where she focuses her practice on commercial litigation, public entity defense, and land use.

Before joining the Firm, Kazel served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Stuart A. Minkowitz, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey (Morris/Sussex Vicinage). In this role, she gained extensive experience drafting decisions and managing a diverse docket in matters ranging from land use, civil rights, election law, and criminal sentencing.

Kazel earned her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she attended on a Distinguished Merit Scholarship. During law school, she was as a member of the Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Board and served a student attorney at the Immigration & International Human Rights Clinic. She distinguished herself as the Co-President and Founder of Seton Hall Law’s first South Asian Law Students Association.

Kazel also completed internships with two boutique New Jersey law firms, and served as a judicial intern for both the Honorable Julien X. Neals, at the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Honorable Patrick DeAlmeida at the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.

Prior to her legal career, Kazel worked as a Client Financial Management Analyst for a Fortune 500 consulting firm. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Smeal College of Business at the Pennsylvania State University.
