Nick is a civil litigation attorney practicing in the areas of governmental law and land use, representing individual, corporate and public-entity clients in State and Federal Court.

Prior to joining CLMC, Nick was an assistant prosecutor for the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.  As an assistant prosecutor he was assigned to the Special Victims Unit, prosecuting over 150 sex crimes and felony level domestic violence cases.  Nick worked at CLMC from 2013 to 2018, representing insurance companies and their insureds in tort-based liability actions.  In 2018, Nick was appointed First Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Jersey City, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Jersey City Law Department. Following his time in Jersey City, Nick worked for a New Jersey law firm representing various public entities in redevelopment projects. He rejoined the Firm in 2025.

Prior to his work as a prosecutor, Nick was an attorney with the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps where he served with the 1st Cavalry Division.  During his deployment to Iraq, Nick served as the trial counsel and international law attorney for the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade.  Upon his return from Iraq, Nick was assigned to the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he ultimately served as principal legal advisor for the Commandant of Cadets, a brigadier general and 38 subordinate commanders.  In these roles, he provided legal guidance on military justice, cadet administration, government ethics, fiscal law, privacy law, environmental law, and administrative law. He also served as a Hearing Advisor in cases involving violations of the Cadet Honor Code.

For distinguished service while in the Army, Nick received several military awards including the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal.

Nick graduated with high honors and a degree in International Relations from Lehigh University in 2001 and received his Juris Doctor degree from Temple University, Beasley School of Law in 2004.
