Cory S. Benavides

Cory S. Benavides is a civil litigation attorney practicing in the areas of governmental law and general litigation representing municipalities and private clients.

In 2014, Cory obtained his B.A. in History and Philosophy from the College of the Holy Cross. Cory obtained his Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2017, where he was recognized for his work for the Center for Policy and Research related to the CIA’s detention and interrogation program, and the Guantanamo Bay Military Commissions. 

Prior to joining CLMC, Cory clerked for the Honorable Martha D. Lynes in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County Vicinage.
