Maria P. Vallejo to Speak at Hudson County Bar Association CLE Ethics Seminar

September 16, 2026

Chasan Lamparello Mallon & Cappuzzo, PC is pleased to announce that Partner Maria Vallejo, Esq. will serve as a speaker at the Hudson County Bar Association & Foundation seminar, “Professional Lines: Client Boundaries, Trust Accounts, and Workplace Management.” The program will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Mediterraneo Restaurant in Bayonne, New Jersey.

This practical continuing legal education course examines common and often overlooked ethical risks in the day-to-day practice of law. Participants will explore labor and employment issues within the law office, effective and ethical firm-management practices, and the proper handling, documentation, and reconciliation of attorney trust accounts. The program will also address the professional boundaries attorneys must maintain with clients, including the risks associated with romantic relationships, close friendships, financial entanglements, and other personal connections that may interfere with independent judgment, confidentially, loyalty, or competent representation.

Maria’s participation as a panelist is particularly meaningful. During her time as President of the Hudson County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, Maria established the annual YLD Ethics Program. Her return as a speaker reflects her continued commitment to sharing her knowledge, best practices, and real-world experience with the legal community.
