ROBERT A. KAYE

Bob Kaye concentrates his practice in business, corporate, and real estate transactional matters. He has extensive experience in a broad scope of transactions including business formations, partnership and shareholder agreements, employment contracts, acquisitions and sales of businesses, and commercial leasing and financing.

Bob has represented national and local tenants in various types of retail centers, including regional enclosed malls, strip centers, outlet malls, and street locations. He represents industrial and commercial landlords and tenants, health care providers, and others involved in the medical care industry, non-profit corporations, lawyers, doctors, accountants, manufacturers, distributors, retailers and sales agents, full service restaurants and caterers, Internet providers, banks and other lenders, developers, insurance brokers and builders.

He serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Business Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Bob is co-founder and first President of the Hudson-Bergen Inn of Transactional Counsel, a non-profit organization intended to enhance the quality of practice for lawyers engaged in transactional matters. He was appointed as a member of Governor James McGreevy’s Transition Team of the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance, Division of Banking Sub-Committee in 2001. Bob is a former member, vice-chair, and chair of the District VI Ethics Committee, appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
