Mark S. Hanna

Experience

Drawing on his experience as a former assistant Hudson County prosecutor, Mark practices in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, and has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in superior and municipal courts. He also appears regularly before the National Arbitration Forum (NAF) on personal injury protection (PIP) matters.

Among his recent Hudson County Superior Court trial successes, Mark defended a motorist who struck the rear of another vehicle.  The jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of his client.  He also obtained a unanimous jury verdict in favor of a client who was accused of running through a stop sign and striking another vehicle. In both cases, the juries were persuaded by Mark that the plaintiffs had not sustained injuries related to their motor vehicle accidents.

In criminal defense matters, Mark relies on his extensive experience in the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office, where he was assigned to the Special Victims’ Unit and successfully prosecuted armed robbery, burglary, kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse and career criminal cases.

Mark served as law clerk to Hon. Paul M. DePascale, Superior Court, Criminal Division, Hudson County Vicinage.
