Kenneth A. Porro joined Chasan Lamparello Mallon & Cappuzzo, PC in May 2015.  Ken has over thirty years of real estate and business litigation and land use valuation experience practicing throughout the State of New Jersey.

Ken’s writings further reflect his established knowledge in land use and property valuation disputes.  He is the author of “Redevelopment through Condemnation,” “The Effect of Government Restrictions on Valuation of Property,” and “Defending Contempt Penalties Under the Clean Water Act.”

Ken is General Corporate Counsel to the Meadowlands Municipal Mayors Committee; Meadowlands Construction Officials Association; Industrial Steel Structures, LLC; Lyndhurst Little League Inc. and Indian Hills Boys Soccer Boosters Assoc.  He has previously served as general counsel to the Lyndhurst Board of Education.  Ken was the Wyckoff Township elected representative to the Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School Board of Education from 2012 to 2018.

Ken is a graduate of Loyola University, Baltimore, Maryland and University of Baltimore School of Law.  He is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Inns of Court Foundation.  Ken has received the honor of being recognized as a “New Jersey Super Lawyer” by New Jersey Magazine in 2005-2007, 2009-2013, 2015-2016 and 2018, and was recognized in the 2020 edition of Best Lawyers in America.  He is also a past Condemnation Commissioner and lecturer for the New Jersey State Bar Association on Adverse Possession, Land Use and Municipal Tax Appeals as well as other local government/land use topics.
