Amanda E. Jackson

Experience

Amanda practices in the areas of civil litigation and employment law, with a focus on sexual harassment, racial discrimination, disability claims, whistleblowing, family leave, private-sector labor law, employment contracts and non-competition/restrictive covenant litigation. 

Amanda is a graduate of Villanova University and obtained a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2009.  Before joining the firm, Amanda served as a Law Clerk for the Hon. Patricia K. Costello, A.J.S.C., Essex County Vicinage where she worked on both civil and criminal issues.  She also assisted with the Fugitive Safe Surrender Program, a law enforcement initiative aimed at non-violent offenders with outstanding warrants, which provided the opportunity for offenders to safely surrender and achieve “favorable consideration” in sentencing. 

While in law school, Amanda served as a judicial intern to Hon. Dennis M. Cavanaugh, United States District Court, New Jersey.  She also served as a legal entertainment intern for Broadcast Music, Inc. in New York City where she assisted in royalty disputes with regard to unlicensed misuse of compositions as well as court ordered royalty garnishment.
