Cheyne R. Scott will speak about how lawyers can reduce stress via the therapeutic technique of mindfulness in “The Mindful and Meditative Lawyer – Techniques for Staying Calm and Positive in an Adversarial Profession” on Thursday, May 17 from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. Then from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m Cheyne will join a panel of young diverse lawyers for “Coach, I’m Ready! Put Me in the Game.” The panel will discuss how younger lawyers can overcome barriers in the field to develop the experience necessary to successfully advance their careers.
Thomas N. Zuppa will help lawyers at the beginning of their careers better understand the choices available to them in law and employment in “What I Wish I Knew” on Wednesday, May 16 from 9:30 to 11:10 a.m.
Ryan J. Gaffney will give a refresher course on essential practice techniques in “How to Preserve Your Record for Appeal” on Wednesday, May 16 from 1:45 to 3:25 p.m.
