Mayor Frank Huttle Swears-in Roosevelt Jean to Four-Year Planning Board Position

On August 3, 2017, Englewood Mayor Frank Huttle swore-in Roosevelt Jean, a long standing member of the firm’s Governmental Law practice, to a four-year Planning Board position.

Planning Board members are responsible for adopting a municipal Master Plan in accordance with state requirements; approving specific site plans, proposals for subdivision or development and layout of streets and highways; advising the City Council in matters relating to the master plan; and granting variances from municipal regulations.

Expressing his delight about this prestigious public appointment, Roosevelt said: “Englewood is a vital city. I’m excited about the opportunity to participate in critical decisions that will shape the City’s reasonable and practical land use development moving forward.”
