Cheyne R. Scott Published in New Jersey State Bar Association Diversity Committee Newsletter

Cheyne R. Scott shared insights about the evolution from judicial clerkship to law firm life in an article published in the New Jersey State Bar Association Diversity Committee Newsletter in April 2016.  The article, titled Seven Ways to Successfully Transition from a Clerkship to a Law Firm, detailed some of Ms. Scott’s personal experiences and lessons learned as a working attorney.  Ms. Scott advised new lawyers to see the positive side of challenging work and to be adaptable when faced with new or stressful situations.  She also wrote about her participation in the Firm’s summer softball league as an example of seizing an opportunity to bond with co-workers outside of work.  Ms. Scott is a member of the Diversity Committee and was recently accepted into the 2016-2017 class of Leadership Academy Fellows.  The Leadership Academy seeks to develop informed and committed future leaders of the Bar through the study of ethical, professional and public services issues.
