Dr. Michael A. D’Anton Appointed to the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Mental Health Initiatives Interbranch Implementation Committee

Michael A. D’Anton, Ph.D., who is also a New Jersey Licensed Psychologist, was recently appointed to the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Mental Health Initiatives Interbranch Implementation Committee (“Implementation Committee”).

In 2010, Chief Justice Stuart Rabner convened the Interbranch Advisory Committee on Mental Health Initiatives (“Advisory Committee”) with the goal of improving the responses to individuals with mental illness who become involved with the justice system. The Advisory Committee issued its report making seventeen recommendations.  The charge of the Implementation Committee is to: (1) conduct any additional necessary analysis of the seventeen recommendations, and (2) develop and, when possible, initiate the strategies and action steps to most effectively implement each recommendation.
